Key Points

Effective immediately, every Festool CT Dust Extractor we ship carries Full Unit HEPA Certification, meeting or exceeding requirements set forth by the EPA in the lead paint regulations known as Renovation, Repair, and Painting, or RRP.
As you can see, a HEPA filter (even one that’s certified) is only as good as its seal with the vacuum. This said, the only dust extractor that’s valid for use in RRP work is one that’s Full Unit HEPA Certified. And as of right now, that would be a Festool. |

What this means for Existing Customers
If you purchased a Festool CT 26 or Festool CT 36 Dust Extractor since October 2010, and have need of the certificate for RRP-related work,simply register your serial number and shipping details using our Customer Online HEPA Claim Form. Once details are confirmed, we will process your shipment as quickly as possible.
As communicated in a previous FIS, all CT MINI and CT MIDI Dust Extractors now include HEPA filters (item #496752, verified by HEPA imprint).
